Well Mike, I suppose one could take one of the old late '90s 900cc(actually 865cc) Thunderbird triples and put forward controls on it.

But THEN the question would be: "Why?" 'Cause THAT'S pretty much what you'd end up with..a Bonnie America Triple, RIGHT?! 'Cause basically, those era Thunderbirds were designed to appeal to the American market and those into "Retro-styled" motorcycles, just as the BA's are.

(...UNLESS you're talkin' about droppin' an old T150 or T160 air-cooled Triumph pushrod triple into a Bonnie America frame...but then, once again, I would ask: "Why?")

I stand to be corrected but I thought the BSA rocket engine was sourced from Triumph (trident).
