Well if it does brake down and i wont be suprised if it does getting parts will be alot easier to get it will be easier to work on and tires are a hell off alot cheaper and common and I'm about to start prospecting for the sons of silence got to have a Harley for that it works out

if you were worried about over heatin' why did you buy the harley? i've got a buddy that has a street glide and everytime we get stuck in a little traffic he has to shut his off.
but anyways, i hope you enjoy the bike man.

at least I can expect it to over heat you wouldn't expect a water cooled bike with a car size radiator to over heat

no there a 1% club im currnetly in a support club for the sons call The silent few im the vice president for the little rock chapter im wanting to step up to the sons i start prospectng next month

for the most part they are a law abiding club there not like they used to be im good friends with alot of them i even stayed at the sons of silence private camp ground during sturgis and its nothing like they show on tv there was maybe 25-30 kids running around had games and about a 100 foot slip-n-slide very family oriented what its a very tight brother hood i would do just about anything for them and they would do anything for me for example on the way to sturgis i was at a gas station in wyoming getting gas when a son pulled in with clutch promblems i stayed there till we got parts tore his bike down in the wendys parking lot and got him going in return he paid for some of my gas and made sure i was taken care of at the camp ground no matter what u read about the sons there all very good people and i have great respect for all of them

I couldn't remember, some guys I knew joined them and told them it was a stupid idea. I know several 1%ers and have no interest in that life anymore either. Used to hang with a few and they are all dead, in jail, or in hiding now.

I can see just fine out of those mirrors, plenty big enough and no vibration.
This thing handles just as good or better than my Speedy

Damien, good looking bike, I like the RoadGlide.."rented" one over Memorial Day and the wife & I took a 1000 mile jaunt around Oklahoma and finished up with lunch that Monday at the Pied-Piper in Eureka Spings,AR...she is not a "bikers wife" even though she is married to a devout motorcycle enthusiast, BUT she said we need to "get one of them" The only thing I didn't like about the RG was the foot boards, I think I would need pegs......I know it is not as sporty as my Sprint or Bonnie but with the bride on back it would serve the purpose.....good looking bike there..  Sons of Silence is an old club...have met several at rallys in Oklahoma.we talked Triumphs...joining a club is a big commitment, think long and hard while you prospect. it is a time for mutual evaluation....

There not like they used to be they are not allowing any illegal activitys in the club they shut down 2 of there own chapters cuz they were dealing drugs if you look at the club thur the eyes of the law your not going to see what the club really is

I still have my America it's got 60,000 miles on it Ive got a 06 scrambler and I sold the rocket for the road glide I hate victorys I worked in a motorcycle shop and hated working on them I don't like the way they run or handle if I would of known the response I would have got from this post I wouldn't of posted I love my new bike it rides better then my rocket ever did I can actually see out of the mirrors clearly on the road glide gets better mileage And is more stable at high speeds than the rocket
