T Minus ONE WEEK. Ya I'm that guy so here goes... No rain! Booya! So close but so far...5 more days of work and one weekend away. Can't wait to escape from my 8month prego wife, ahh I mean its going to be tough to leave her behind, I will miss you.

By now you know Liane put me in charge of the weather. It's a huge responsibility but I can handle it. The weather will be STELLAR and in recognition of my efforts all I need is honourable mention at the banquet.

Well as what appears to be normal these days around here it is pouring harder then a hammer on nails, but the weather girl says good weather on the front! man, i am starting to think i live on the west coast..... comon sun!

Running errands today..packing tonite after volunteer duty for City Jail..than off over Stevens tomorrow am with visits in Chelan/Wenatchee and stop over in Omak..see everyone Thursday..Be safe and triumphantly arrive rubber side down!!!

I could meet up in the am tomorrow and ride to the great turn off for 97..I am stopping in Malaga to visit an old friend..what time do Karen and you plan to depart??Its a beautiful ride over stevens but about 30 minutes longer

Im hoping to get Karen on the road no later than 8am.  If you want some riding partners for part of the way let me know. We can plan on meeting up at that Starbucks in Issaquah again or you can come up closer to us in Sammamish. My plan was to head out on 202, up Tolt Hill Rd then onto 203 to Monroe and catch 2 from there. This would avoid all the locals going to work that bottle neck the main roads up. Karen would love to see the Bonnie too. Ill PM you my cell #.

Not homebound, just on the far side of the world. I've been enjoying the FB pics posted by Z and Karen. Saw one pic of Bob, but not of his new Bonnie. I think I spotted Brent in one as well.

Trophy pic coming. Thought I'd clean the bike first, then get a pic of the trophy on the bike. However, temps are super hot these days (100 degrees +) so I'm not getting around to working on the bike until it cools down a bit.

Hey everyone! Thank you again for making my first attempt at the Raid so successful! Some of the comments that made me happy were: Karen - I will actually wear this shirt Z - I can actually wear this shirt All the ladies - thank you for the women's cut shirts! Anyway, I am back to planning again now and am updating the website bit by bit with stuff. The 2013 gallery is now up on www.kootenayratraid.com if you are interested in more pictures. I'll be adding more when time permits and am at a computer where I can do so (lots blocked at work!) What makes me even happier is that we got through this year with only one small minor incident. Looking forward to next year. I'll start a new thread for 2014 when I have the registration ready to roll. Cheers!
