Thought I'd throw your picture up here for you. I'd embed your video for you too but alas it's a privilege reserved for mods and admin only. Btw... looks and sounds great!

I just ordered a set of these and had a question but didn't want to start a new thread.
I live about 3 hours from my dealer. What would be the consequences if any of installing them and driving the bike up for the remapping instead of trailering?

I can't imagine any permanent damage from a short ride with an exhaust change. You won't even realize that much of a performance gain unless you open up the intake as well. But a remap is still in order, with any change from a stock config.

I sure loved everything about mine.
Now just mount them to the center stand mount and shave off the hangers...

Ok. I just came across this thread. I have the Bomber Exhaust on my Speedy (2007, Carbureted). I am still running the stock air box right now, no modifications to it. Stock jets as well. Do I need to have my bike remapped too? Can I run the bike this summer without remapping? An do it off riding season?

You would be closer to optimum air/fuel ratio with proper jetting. You would have a broader power curve and just better performance in general. Dinqua's site has good info, try here maybe http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/dinqua/Triumph/carbs0.html Mapping mostly applies to the EFI models. Although you can have your ignition timing changed, TPUSA & TTP offer that service I think.

Don't know allot about those pipes but i am assuming they open the bank up a fair bit next to stock, so if more out you need more in, more in = at the very least a K&N or some better flowing filter, also changing the main jets would also likley be in order.

Seems like those links no longer work... Can someone give a comparison of how the bomber pipes sound against others?

They sound like a drummer playing cello with a fried turkey leg in the rain. And farting into a bassoon. Yes you should go ahead and get an open flow air filter at least and rejet.
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

Hmm not the specific comparison I was looking for but cool thanks. I'm sure you don't need loud pipes as people already turn in amazement at seeing a giant dick riding a motorcycle.

That sounds alot like my Speedmaster stock pipes with one baffle removed. Rejetted and noticed a nice increase in power not big but noticeable. With bigger front sprocket it helped on uphill climbs.

The bombers mount to the rear lower frame rails? Dang, totally missed that until I read you post Matt.

Stainless Ride is temporarily out of business, moving their plant back to US.
You can get the Bombers from me too.
