So I'm riding back to Houston from Livingston, Sunday night, and suddenly notice my red Oil Pressure light very dimly lit, and flickering. I still had 25-30 miles to home, so I'm watching it close for a change in intensity...a little later, I notice the Green Neutral light dimly glowing, too.

I would have never seen either had I been riding in daylight, and I have the LED upgrades, too.

Any thoughts or ideas? I won't have a chance to look at anything in daylight before Sunday, but do plan on making my weekly Thursday night flight across town...

I did feel some better when I saw the Neutral light dimly glowing too.....like that Oil Pressure light might not be meaning what it otherwise could be.....

I have noticed this also. Have had the LED idiot lamps for some time. The oil lamp can be seen dimly flickering from directly above in the dark. I don't notice it from my riding position but look straight down when stopped you can see it. Would never see it in the daylight. Oil level is fine and all seems OK. Haven't really worried about it.

When was the last oil change? Mine did it once but I was on the back end of an oil change that was due and I was riding all day in hot temperatures. That could be a factor and an oil change is simple enough to do.

I just got her out of the shop Saturday before last...had had the clutch all apart checking for that "weird vibration". I thought it was a tad low, so I added a 1/4 quart before I left to go to Livingston Sunday morning. But she wasn't low when I left Livingston to come home....not low now, either.

I found the LED idiot lights sensitive to very minor voltage fluctuations. This concerned me when I first installed them. The neutral light would flicker when I used the other stuff like the horn or indicators (from memory but it was 3 years ago). I was advised to ignore it, harmless, so I haven't given it another thought until I read your post.

I made my weekly flight across town last night, and when leaving he bank, the starter solenoid just buzzed....turned off my driving lights, an she fired right up.

I stopped for gas a mile or two later, and she fired right up with all lights on, and, she fired right up again an hour and a half later, lights on, when I headed back home.

I knew it was about time for that battery to give up....I thinks I put this one in back in 2007 or 2008....

I've got to work tomorrow, so I asked the wife to go get a battery for me, otherwise, it might be next Saturday again before I could....
