Yes, like air bags, I imagine the recharge, replacement isn't cheap. Mountain biking and suddenly blinded or just having a friend greet you with a slap on the back, embarrassing and expensive.

If they produce and sell it people will buy it. I think in places like here in Houston, the helmets are better. They have vents ya know. If ya got one of those here you would have one very sweaty neck. How wierd would that be?
