Anyone seen a picture of Hagon 2810 shocks black shroud chrome springs? I think they will look good being mostly black with that bit of chrome spring showing. As a side bar have you ridden with them?

I have those shocks, 2810 with black body and chrome spring, no shroud. Great for the money, the rebound damper is a nice fine tuner and the chrome spring over black looks great. Not too much chrome but enough...that spring is long and visible. I like them much better than the Progressive 412s they replaced.

The dealer sent a picture of black spring black shroud but recommended the chrome spring with the Speedmaster. They are a small supplier down east in Nova Scotia that specialize in parts for all models of older British bikes. Maybe I could source it local but I like giving business to people that keep dreams alive.

I put black body chrome spring Hagons on Wendys bike and they are great imo. Be sure you know what you want and ask for it, Hagon makes them to order.

Absolutely order them for your weight to get the proper spring rate, be sure to include the passenger in your discussion with Hagon to insure success. I spent postage one way to improve mine, resprung for free but I could have avoided the delay.

They are sizing for my weight on lower setting leaving room for my wife and bags in the upper range of preset and dampening. In the end going chrome spring with black shroud I think that will look good with the rear footpeg relocators I painted, lots of black with a flash of the shiny bits.

Mon has also found 12" made to order 2810's far better than th 412's they replaced...but she went with shroudless black spring over black..very happy with th finer tuning too..

Posted my new ones on members rides under title Das Hagons Das. We don't have a rating plate quite like that here in Canada perhaps a privacy issue.

Been a while since being on here but Hagon Nitros are one of my favourite topics. It actually took a while for Hagons to be accepted by owners of the parallel twin cos Hagon had somehow completely stuffed up the spring ratings for varying rider weights. For instance they suggested I needed (and took) 20kg rated springs when in reality I needed 26kg rated numbers. Long story short, I'm like a dog with a bone and after a couple of years and with other members taking my advice, we eventually convinced Hagon to change and correct their ratings right across the board.
