Float needle(s) missing. Floats too high.

Stuck floats...... very typical right after assembly. I use a little two cycle oil when putting them together. Pull the bowls and give the floats a wiggle and squirt a drop or two of oil into the needle seats. If you assembled all correctly you should be in good shaope after that.

I'm guessing the needles weren't installed properly or the float tabs were bent allowing too much fuel in the bowls.

needles weren't installed properly, fixed problem there but right cylinder starts missing after warms up, changed plugs and coils, I'm guessing CDI?

Why I like to deal with Fast Eddy for that stuff. Cool thing is if Eddy doesn't have it he will direct you to someone who does if he can. No run around, no BS, just honest answers and help.

i already had the cdi set to 4 if thats what you meant. i let the bike run for 20 mins. both cylinders fire up and idle like champs. once it gets warm is when the right cylinder starts to cut out. the right cylinder will fire sporadically but for the most part it is dead.

Well at least you have some good spares. Used OEM CDI units go for a good price.
