I live here... this is my backyard. The video I link to here depicts the area surrounding Friar's favourite stretch of road. This is the back country of my world. This is Canadian wilderness at it's best. This, is amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLU-VvHiHSM&feature=player_embeddedThere is a cabin on 1/2 acre for sale up there... I'm interested.

Keith, I made my first trip to BC last year. Got off the boat near Vancouver (the day of the infamous 7th game) and camped on the sound that night. We traveled north until we hit Hwy 16 then cut over to Jasper and down to Banff, camping the whole way (I like bears). I am prejudice about the loveliness of my home but I was slack jawed the entire trip. Your home is just spectacular and every person we met was incredibly gracious.
When I win the Powerball I'm buying me a place between Squamish and Whistler. I figure I'm the only person with that idea.

Spectacular vistas our western provinces have. Hope they had permission to re-sculpt them.

Some amazing footage there, Gordie! And yes, I have to figure out a way to purchase that cabin.

At about 3:06 How the hell does he do that!???? Ok he spills on landing but still! He seems to turn the bike round a few times in the air and climb all over it. I though he was going to change the tyre too! That looks like my idea of heaven. What's mobile phone reception like?

All that on a hard tail. I think of the times I have truly f**ked myself up just riding down the mountain on a full suspension bike with my only goal being to stay upright.
Mad skills.

I don't think Keith has a cell phone, so he might not care. My experience is it's pretty spotty at best. Which in the big picture is probably good.

"No reception" would've been the better answer

Keith I think you should definetly buy a place up there. Make sure you got acouple extra bunks though. I have a feeling you may have a few extra guests from time to time. Also keep in mind if you are off grid there is an extreamly strong chance of having no cell service which means you will not be able to update on the forums!!!
