Guys, got some bad news this week,I've been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer(stage 4)I had my first chemo today if I can tolerate it I'll be down.If I only have one more rally in me Arkansas is a good one to make.

Thanks,guys,I feel good today must have killed alot of big c with my first chemo.I don't say it often but my love for motorcycles and the people who ride them {the people on this site that I've been with since 02}has kept me young at heart.This rally is up in the air right now but your all in my heart and a big reason for me to fight this.Dave,we'll ride again if not Arkansas then at the Midwest in the spring.I'm feeling good,I'm not cancelling my cabin got to have me some more of those great back roads down there.

Chris,I lerk here every day and saw of your recent get off others said what I thought so no reason to pile on.Hope to see you all next week but like the wife says when we get home on Monday we have to make an appointment to have ports put in so chemo can be done every two weeks if it's Thursday or Friday I'm screwed.Lets hope it's next Monday!

Jack,I just heard about this, obviously not great news but here's hopefully a bit of encouragement.
My wife's brother had the same diagnosis 2+ years ago. He has been a real fighter through this whole ordeal. 8 weeks ago he was back in the hospital and things were very grim,2 weeks later they sent him home with hospice. He has continued to improve since coming home and hospice has actually removed themselves and he is now back under doctors care. Amazing to say the least.
Chin up big man, I can guarantee you all your riding buddies will be pulling for you!

Thanks for all the good wishes I need them.As for Bigjack I'm under 245 LB been losen a couple pounds a day,wifes been pushing high proteen drinks on me like body biulders use.

Guys,because of simple logstics,I have my second chemo starting on the 13th I will miss this years rally.I've called and cancled my cabin,it's a single #4 if anyone is interested.You guys who know me know I carry a flask of Makers Mark with me to the rallys so when your sitting around the campfire after a great day of rideing hoist one for me.

You don't understand Yota Once I starte chemo it's a three day deal.First day it takes 8 Hrs too push two drugs in then I'm hook up to a pump that pushes the third drug for 48 Hrs.It's mobile so I can go home while it's doing it's job.Besides No cage makes better time than my Bird LOL.My sites are on Georgia in the spring,see you all there!

Jack, hang in there. Thoughts are with you from everyone, so there's no way this isn't gonna turn out well for you. Guys, I won't be making the rally this year, as I sold my bike to make room in the garage for my latest acquisition. However, would you reject me if I drove up Saturday to hang with you for the night's festivities? (Another bike is being considered, but I haven't pulled the finger yet...  )
