what brand of chain is a good replacement for our bikes? I was was looking at ek xring chains and renthal chains and cant really see what the difference is. also is it a bad idea to use a master link or should i get a chain press?? thanks

Been running a clip style link on my chain since last year with no issue but it was a bugger to get the clip on. In the 30+ years I have been riding I have never had a clip style master fail. I have had a chain break on the road but it wasn't at the master link. Took my chain breaker out of my tool bag and spare master link and was rolling again for the rest of the day in a few minutes.
