So I want to paint my wheels on my 04 SM black. Anybody done this before? Any tips? I was going to rattle can them with high quality wheel paint, self etching primer etc.... Is there any risks involved when taking of the brake rotors? Just wondering i there is any risks of warping the discs when removing and reinstalling them.

Thanks!!

Check out my thread in the custom section. I just painted mine flat black. Came out pretty well. I had to remove the discs from the wheels. Just make sure you put some new blue loctite on them when you reinstall the disc screws.

I scuffed the paint up with a red sanding pad and painted them with Duplicolor engine enamel low gloss black
