Finally Triumph gets involved with some factory support!

The side case had a big triple look to it. Maybe the Explorer/Trophy platform...Hot rodded to the max, of course.

"...Triumph builds the largest-displacement production motorcycle on the planet,..." This statement (AND EVERY OTHER reason) leads me to believe it will be a Rocket III!
And you may see me tonight

I heard that rumor as well so I made some phone calls. Western Regional Manager of Triumph sales laughed when I asked about the Buell motor. "We would never do that". But he wouldn't tell me what motor it was. I then call Matt Capri he was pretty hush about the whole matter but did say he just got finishing dyno'ing his Bonneville Salt Flats 190hp rear wheel Triumph Storm wink wink. Time will tell if what I am hearing pans out true. But Suzuki is forced by NHRA to use an outdated 10 year 4 cylinder so the overhead cam Harleys can compete. Kind of like Nascar not allowing the Dodges to run the Hemi V8 that has been banned 42 years. NASCAR makes them run a destroked wedge engine that has been out of production for 10 years to make the competion competitive. It's all a joke. But I would love to see a Triumph win something. But nothing can take away the cool factor of any Triumph. Old or new.
