hope all my friends in florida are not washed away in the floods.
hope all my friends in colorado are safe and did not have any fire damage.
hope all my friends in the mid-atlantic have power and did not have damage from the sever storms this weekend.

Thanks Pete! I was making my way back into the Westmonster on Friday night and damn was it crazy out there. It felt like I was in Fallujah with the way the lightning was lighting up the sky. We were coming down 97 from Gettysburg in the jeep and it took us nearly an hour and a half. Could have also been cause because we were stopping whenever there was a downed branch blocking the road to move it. It was fun.

I saw some crazy stuff that night. Highlight was the trampoline that had blown out of someone's yard and was crossing the street in front of me in the 70 mph winds.

We had a nasty storm come through yesterday early afternoon. We are still without power, hopefully it will be restored this afternoon (fingers crossed). It was a hot, humid night, not very pleasant sleeping weather, but we're in pretty good shape compared to a lot of folks. There are a lot of trees down in the neighborhood, but we luckily escaped any major damage. We have a generator powering the 2 refridgerators, sump pump, and a couple fans. At least I get to come to work where we have A/C and the internet!
