nah then.got a little problem i would like to share with the brain boxs on this forum.when i arrived at the farmyard party tother week, stopped the bike to get me ticket out,n when i came to start it,wouldnt catch at all.thought nuthin of it cos of the rain n crap that was on the road,on the way there.left it bout an hour after sprayin it with wd40,started straight up,with slight smell o petrol n electrics (got k&n pods on,open pipes, havnt rejetted yet, been runnin ok).goin home(in the dry)still havin startin problems after i stopped anywhere.eventually went home on a breakdown truck, break down guy showed me there was no spark.once home, changed plugs n wires,no change.had it in a local garage,an he cant find anythin wrong with it ses its been firin up every time (even started it on the phone)although with a slight hesitation.my question is what would the symptoms be if the cdi was on its way out.thanx for any help n advice.

The only other thing I can think of is water in the pick up coil interconnect. If that got really wet it wouldn't trigger the igniter.
