Hey all. I just put a solo seat on my 10 speedmaster from British Customs. What have other people done to fill the bolt hole for the stock passenger seat?

Okay, here's the thing... I swear I saw a sweet solo seat rear fender Triumph medallion type bolt thing on an America, but it's not listed anywhere we can find in the Triumph parts catalogue. I have been at the dealer several times trying to get them to find one, because I want it, and I don't recall if I saw it on one of the Triumph truck demo bikes or what so I have Peter Carleo's phone number and I'm gonna call him and see if he can locate this piece for me. It's about the size of a silver dollar (maybe bigger) and has Triumph Motorcycles embossed in black on it. I'll let you know what I find out.

Hey Dave, I saw one of those medallions on U.K. EBay a few weeks ago, I went looking for it this A.M. and I couldn't locate it. If they relist, I'll post a link. I want one too.

I used it before I had my solo rack, now use it with the solo rack. It is a Thunderbird accessory.

I put this rack on mine. I got it from Newbonneville.com. The instructions said it was for a Sportster and I had to open up the mounting holes in it to get it to fit. Is this common or did they send me the wrong rack?

I have the same sportster rack and it is not a perfect fit just very, very close.
Folks that want to fill the hole without doing anything fancy can always go to the local auto store and pick up a blister pack of those plastic buttons that fill the odd holes in car interiors.
That said, the Thunderbird medallion is way, way cooler :-)
