Eddy's been really busy lately.
Give him a little time and I'm sure he'll answer you.
The patches will be in his hands by the end of the month at the latest (well, I hope).
I've been busy too, so sorry if I haven't been replying PMs lately.

Here's an idea, that I will throw out there for all to consider. Since this is in honor of Friar John why don't we sell the patch and sticker as a fund raiser for the site. If the Patch and Sticker cost about $2.50 for both then sell the pair for $5.00 with the extra proceeds to go toward funding BA.com. This way we are remembering John physically in the patch and sticker, and virtually by helping keep this forum funded.

BA.com patches are for the site, the John patch should be for his family to donate/use as they see fit. I believe one of his cousins recently joined the site and had a suggestion for donations to go to families of fallen riders.
There is a charity here for children of fallen riders. www.childrenoffallenriders.com
I for one, feel that to honor the good Friar all excess funds collected for the patch/stickers in memorial to him should be donated to the charity mentioned.

I have been keeping the e-mails sent to me and As Ian said, will make a post on how I will handle things once I have them. I'll set up a link in here and on my site to make it happen, easy peazy lemon squeezy.
Been going for frequent short rides since I heard about our Brother and I spend my time drinking in this world and loving the ride and thinking about my brother and friend who was doing the same.

Update: Got the stickers today. They gave me all the stickers on a huge 4' x 6' sheet of reflective vinyl! Sometimes, my Chinese is not good enough to explain what I need... So, I'll be cutting them into single squares, it will be your job to cut them round, if you don't mind! Got a sample of the patch. They will be ready within a week and I will ship both the patch and stickers as soon as I get them.

Will you be accepting payment through PayPal? People will need to ensure they supply a name and address when ordering so you can notify the correct distributor - I know that sounds obvious but after dealing with the ba.com patches, people don't always do it!!

I do have Paypal... but I think I'll let the distributors handle the flow (if that's ok), and whenever they feel they have some money to send me, they can. Otherwise, I don't mind about it so much. It's not that much money and it's all for a good cause... I miss John's posts already... not to take away anything from all the other staff at ba.com, they've been great and showed us that ba.com is a great big family and we are not going away anytime soon...
Is that ok?

Update:
Stickers, I have. I had to cut all the stickers by hand (in squares) from a 4x6 sheet. You'll have to cut them in a circle... sorry for the trouble.
Patches were shipped to me today. I should get them in a day or 2 and I'll distribute them as soon as they get here.
Almost there.

Patches have arrived.
So, I'll make shipments today.
Here's the split as it stands...
- Funkletrumpet (UK) gets 35 patches and 50 stickers.
- Fasteddy (US) gets 45 patches and 60 stickers.
- Foglefar (Aus) gets 10 patches and 20 stickers.
- Keith (Can) gets 30 patches and 30 stickers for distribution at the rally and Canada.
I'll get back soon with the way to get them to you, all members and friends of John.

Patches and stickers sent to the distributors. Should be in soon. I thought taiwanese post office was cheaper... dang! Shipping cost almost as much as making them! No matter... they are on their way! Next post will be about how to get them.

OK,
On my end unless I can figure a way to make it easy to sort it out. Price will be
$2.25 for the patch and $1.10 per decal including the postage and costs of production and getting them here only. no stipend or service fees of any kind. Unless I can figure a way to knock off the shipping when folks combine it (that is going to warp my brain at the moment) I will leave that in there. In other words if you buy a decal and Patch, each have shipping calculated into that price. I can figure it out so my site can give choices but it will take me some time to do that and I am getting ready to head for the Midwest Rally tomorrow (6/6/12) I just got Jeff's post tonight with the information I will get these going for you guys as soon as I can.

Ordered and received mine today from eddy. I never had the pleasure of meeting or speaking with Friar, but felt I knew him through this Forum and what he shared on-line. I think of him often, yet my only interaction was on-line through this forum and the banter from the members with him. As I read the posts from other members, I was truly moved at what a cool guy he was and what he meant to this Forum. I will wear his patch proudly.
