The Gunfighter has the strap, while the Roadster had even less of a pillion seat, maybe narrower back there, too, as in a little more pointed at the rear.
Riding position for the rider? I can not answer that. I can say that the Gunfighter and the Touring Seat are very similar in riding position, though.
I like the Touring Seat with a Sissy Bar and rack, or a Solo Seat without a Sissy Bar, but the Gunfighter and Roadster seats I never saw much purpose for...useless for a pillion, and hard to appreciate the looks of, too.

I'm pretty sure the Gunfighter was the narrower/thinner/less of a pillion than the other? I had one, and was under that impression. And Lester, buster, you BETTER be SURE you don't have a "love interest" that you EVER expect to ride on that seat, cause I paid over $300 for mine, got LESS than ten miles out of it, before the wife DEMANDED me to take her home! Sold it for $100. (Yea, there were times when I thought MAYBE that wasn't a bad idea , but , well , you know)
And you may see me tonight
