What is involved in the snorkel removal on a 2005 BA,IS IT A MUST. The bike has Epco mufflers, has been re-jetted,AI removed.
Am also thinking of removing air box, installing K&N filters at the first service.
Looking for the best performance out of the 790cc with no major engine work.
Will appreciate any help in this direction.

not a must. all you havta do is take off your seat, and yank on the rubber tube coming out of the box, thats it.

My personal opinion is that you're better off yanking the tube, chopping the lower 2" off, and replacing the top... helps keep the bugs/dust/water etc out of the inlet.
