Just had a new rear tire put on, and this is the first time I'm trying something other than the Metzler ME880. Never had a complaint one about the Metzlers, and still running the LaserTec up front. But this time time, I went with the new Michelin Commander II. No particular reason. If I don't like it, I'll go back to the Metzler next year.

I am about to let go of my back Met ME880... that compound is so hard, and it's a bit older now, so it feels a little slick.
I traded the front Met for a Pirelli Demon and I am really liking it. Too bad they don't seem to make one size for our back tire... I'd like that very much!
I'm kinda stuck with Bridgestone's BT-lowend around here... sadly...

Love my Avon Venoms.
For the AVON runners on this site, which AVON combination are you running? If I am not mistaken, they don't make a combination in the stock Speedmaster sizes, do they? (They may make the rear tire size, but not the 110/80-18?)
My friend at Cycle Sports of Houston has been trying to talk me into them for years....but I'm unwilling to deviate from stock tire size...
