Elvira has right at 41K on the speedo. This weekend I pulled out into traffic and really rolled on it. When I hit second it seemed like the clutch might be slipping a little. When I got home and was positioning it in the garage it wouldn't stay in neutral. When do they usually need changing?

I wore mine out around 25000 but I think the 904 was a contributing factor. When I changed them out the stock plates were black and scorched.

The springs are weak on these bikes. The number of times I have just installed Barnet springs and the bike goes on just fine.

I installed some very stiff springs on mine when I went with the 904. I think they are the 100lb Barnett springs. Ask anyone that has squeezed my clutch lever, they are stiff
