Unfortunately, it won't help much unless you replace the coils too. The stock coils run out of spark at around 8000 because these engines fire twice per revolution. Can't really say there is a problem with the coils though, the 360 engine would have to turn 16000 to get the same effect.

GB, I think that your math is a little fuzzy here. They're both two cylinder, four cycle engines.
