Hey Mike... I know what you're going through. Memphis Shades puts out a good windshield at a reasonable price. There are plenty of different styles to choose from. Here's some stuff from their website. http://www.memphisshades.com/metric-shades/metric-sportshields

A lot of motorcycle dealers carry them... I got mine fro the local Honda dealer. If that wont work for you, try https://www.dreamcycles.net/index.asp They are located in Ottawa.

Now, Frank over there at dreamcycles.net probably wont know which MS shield fits your bike, nor with the local Honda dealer or whoever. And either do I 'cause I can't remember so either someone here will help you with that, or for sure Eddy at fasteddysports.com will set you straight. Eddy sells them too but understandably you want to buy from THIS side of the border for the reasons you already pointed out.

Hope this helps!

First thing, you shouldn't have to pay any duty. There is no duty on motorcycles or parts.

Second, never have things shipped to Canada via UPS, they charge brokerage fees which are set by the price of the item. The more expensive the item the larger the brokerage fees, and as I have said, there is no duty so they don't really do any brokerage.

The only thing you should be paying is tax
I ran into the same problem on a tank I picked up on ebay. I paid $127 for the tank and $70 for UPS/tax.

Where in Northern Ontario are you located? Are you near the US border at all. I have all my US purchases shipped to a UPS store in a US border town (Ogdensburg, NY). It only cost me $5/parcel, with another $5/week if I don't pick up within the first week. Luckily they also have a web app that tells me when my parcels come in.

(Now hopefully you won't use this information to evil purposes and snatch the screen I am currently the only bidder on. )

Of course if you are looking for a flyscreen, I might have one for sale very shortly.
