I see many have given their BAs female names; are there no BAs with those little plastic testicles hanging from the rear mudguard? Just curious as mine is not named.....yet.

Mine is 'Auld Beastie'. Personality is definitely male, never gets cranky or difficult.

Keeping my Welsh heritage theme, I've always wanted to give her a Welsh name. But I've yet to come up with one that appeals to me. Catherine Zeta-Jones is too long...

I've never officially named my bike, but I've considered a few. I was really considering calling it "General Stuart" because I ride through the North terrorizing the hell out of the Yankees like JEB Stuart did to McClellan, that and General Lee was already taken.

Ceridwen and Rhiannon are nice sounding Welsh names with a lot of history behind them. Arthur's ship, Prydwen, has a nice ring to it.

Rhiannon makes me think of Fleetwood Mac. Haven't come across Cendwen or Prydwen yet. Will give them some thought, thanks !

An old high school friend, who has studied Welsh, suggested Pamela (Pam = Why, la= Not or something like that). The problem is her name is also Pam and I don't want her fiancee to see me posting on FB, "I rode Pamela all day and had a great time" ...

Well Steve, I don't see any problem with any misunderstanding here, UNLESS that is you'd finish that thought in facebook with somethin' like: "...except those big freakin' horrendous balloons of hers kept gettin' in the freakin' way!"

(...and THEN I suppose a slight misunderstanding COULD come about!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

For some reason "I've just given Peter the ride of his life" sounds .....

.....wrong, somehow

I opted to go with the Iron Horse theme in naming my ride & since my BA's black...Black Beauty.....seemed the most appropriate!

Catherine Zeta-Jones, eh? Brings lots of thoughts to mind including that scene in Zorro - the same scene that Michael Douglas saw and couldn't forget - lucky devil.

Actually, I was thinking more of the movie "Entrapment"...

Personally I have alway wonder what made a man look at a pair of testicles, and say "I have got to have those".
Then take them out to his vehicle then kneel down and tie them on.
Back on the subject at hand "Matilda" thats what I call my 06 America.

personaly i prefer to ride females, so i have always named my bikes with female names. now, if i were of the female perswsion i would think that riding a male would be the thing, we will never know hahahahahahaha i usually see them balls on pickup trucks but i do know a guy that rides a vulkury (sp) and a Rocket rider that both have balls on theirs but i think those bikes maybe should be thought of as guys cuz they surely do have balls hahahahahahha

I've had some bikes with female names, but the Speedmaster seemed male to me.
It's in yellow & black, my favorite team is the Steelers,
so I call Him Steelheart.
