As I'm pretty much much unfamiliar with my (wifes) new America and I'm 3.5 hours from the nearest dealer I'm seriously thinking about a shop manual. I found one at a dealership online with the title;

Triumph America/Speedmaster Service Manual, T3859909

Would that be what I want. It didn't specify year and my thought is that being new from a dealer it's current.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

A Harley Heritage, a Triumph America, a good Irish Whiskey and cigar. As close to Heaven on earth as I can get.

There are some links to an online manual, every page in pdf form... I have a copy myself but not a link to it. I'm sure someone here can hook you up before you go spending good money on it

Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Thanks Keith, I should have specified the bike is a 2012. In looking through E-bay and such it seems the 2001-2007 is what I was seeing most of the time. EFI seems to be the major change.

There have been many many changes since the efi america's began. Not only efi but the changes to the electric speedo make for differences from earlier years. Spend what it takes to get a current manual (a lot of the electrical stuff in the older manuals is useless on your 2012).
