31/32
It was suggested I run a higher pressure once and I tried it but the ride was horrible. I went back to the oem suggestion of 31/32.

Whatever the tire calls for. Some tires run differant pressures.

38/38 Depends on the tire, try some different pressures and see what suits ya. The max pressure marked on the tire is just that; max pressure cold. Don't go beyond it.
I think Triumph recommends around 32-36, not quite sure, but that's just a starting point anyway.
Factors such as bike weight, rider weight, (I may be trying lower pressures ), passenger or no, luggage, etc., all affect the optimum pressure for your bike. Riding style factors in too.

I don't think I would go below 30 with these bikes regardless of tire.

My 2010 America has a sticker on the frame (right front near the steering head)that says 30 front/31 rear.
The "owners handbook" (pg 99) states 36 front and 42 rear.
These numbers aren't even close.
I have been running 31/34, does well.

It depends what oil you run. Kidding. I run max sidewall pressure, cold. Maybe 2 pounds less. Better mileage` and handling IMO, some say it is a rougher, stiffer ride. I am 225# FWIW, but that's what I do.
