We recently got rid of the Thunderbird (too much financially), but my lady really got used to riding with the sissy bar/luggage rack that came with the bike. As I care deeply for her comfort/safety I have decided to purchase one for the America. The stock one available from Triumph is a bit clunky for my tastes and doesn't go with the overall look I've put so much time and effort into achieving with my bike (bobber). So my question is this...anyone had experience with one of these? Id like for it to be functional, and not just for looks. From their website, I'm unsure how it actually even attaches. Looks like it just rests upon the struts, but I'm unsure. Haven't contacted the company yet, just hoping maybe someone has had some experience with them...? Any feedback, suggestions, or comments would be greatly appreciated Much thanks...

Oh really? Cool, didn't know that, maybe I can send him a PM or something. Screen name? Thought I might just buy tha thing and have a coworker weld an extra bead between it and my fender (I'm not really concerned with being aesthetically pleasing, just want it to hold my lady); those guys are always lookin to practice their welding haha might as well be my bike

A little late guys, I been busy in the shop..
If you check the website pics there should be a few of various racks and rests I've done recently. Also facebook pics are updated more frequently..
The advantage of the parts I make is I make them look as clean as possible whilst remaining funtional. Everything I make is usually unique is some way, I can make racks, rests, bars etc to your individual requirements using tech drawings via email to confirm details etc..
Drop me a mail if you want something making up. I am keeping the prices as economical as possible in these troubled times.. (why pay sometimes twice the price for something the next 50 guys have also got?)
Ride safe..
