That would be a thumper, might be why the model in the pic looks to be in in the "ozone"

I been looking up the specification of the bike 10 - 1 compression ratio, no kick start or fins. It sort of reminds me of the Enfield Diesel.

Well, that ugly, boxy radiator for one, Ade.
(...at least in my estimation anyway)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

It'd be a bit hard to read with that big ol' fin-less motor sittin' in the way, wouldn't it Mike?!

Oh yeah. Lucky for me the Rocket's rad is subtle, eh? Whack some chrome on it and no one will bat an eyelid

Sorry Ade, but I've always been of the mind that the LAST thing I'd ever want to do to a bike with a radiator would be to add chrome to that area, as I think it actually draws the eye even more to it.
(...though that's a good point about the lack of "subtleness" in the Rocket's case, but then again, there is NOTHING "subtle" about the Rocket, which as you know is actually the Rocket's strong suit or stock-in-trade)

It used to be China but now, China is China and Taiwan is someplace else. At least, that's the way the politics go.

Ok (and I can't believe I'm saying this ..) I agree with ya! Change the rad, no chrome and I'd ride one just for the craic. Only instead of a scooter. Then again, I'd rather walk than ride a scooter

The 600 Panther single was a popular sidecar machine I wonder how the auto trans would go with an outfit bolted on the side . 750cc should be enough grunt look at the Cossacks/Urals .

I had a 500 single once. It vibrated so much that the UCLA seismology department requested that I notify them before starting it.
