Having switched out my sixteen tooth sprocket for the 18t early on, and the back down to the 17t about a year later. I had forgotton about me old 16 toother residing in a drawer, collecting dust. Well, with nothing else to do last sunday I decided to slip her back on. Hadn't had it on since doing all the mods. Freak and such. Man,what a blast. You know its really a shame they didn't build these bikes with a six speed transmission. It would sure have made it better all around. You could then have a lower first for easier take off's and slow speed handling and a higher sixth for more or less overdrive. The 16 tooth sure wakes up the sleeping demon, tho at the cost of higher rev's on longer rides.

I read the title and thought this was a post about the Kentucky State Legislature.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

I've kept my 16T front sprocket and added two teeth out back, and liked the better pick-up. Yeah, it's a tad noisy on the highway, but then again, I love the combination of engine/wind, am I wrong for that??

My first reaction was... what, another rip on West Virginia
then I realized that was about twice as many as anyone there has so he must be talking about a sprocket!
