HI, was thinking about getting a fly screen possibly the Dart one, I have a 2007 america carbed model. Im 6ft tall will it be of any benefit or am i wasting my money. I dont like the look of the larger screens so would not want one of those. Any advice welcome thanks.

I'm 6'5" and have had the dart fly screen for a couple years and I did find it helpful, mainly because I slouched a great deal while riding. I have recently picked up a Corbin seat with backrest. That has caused me to sit up straighter and now I find the fly screen less effective but my back feels much better. I am currently looking to pick up a roadster or Memphis shades screen (used if possible but may have to go with new if I can't come up with one).

The fly screen can be surprisingly effective, however it has to be adjusted perfectly to achieve that.

I found the fly screen took a lot of wind off my chest. I wear a full face helmet, so the wind on my head is not much of an issue.

I've have a flyscreen I picked up from Marty for a couple of years now. I use it mid summer months when it is warmer and the bugs and road debris have diminished. Typically wear a full face with because of the debris. It does help a bit but comes no where near what a full screen covers. With my Roadster screen, I wear a half helmet with little fear of getting hit by rocks. I've been pelted on my full face with the flyscreen many times.

+1 on the Dart flyscreen.
Same here with my 07 TBA. I'm 5'10". I also use a full face helmet. I also put on a set of lowers and find highway cruising a lot more pleasant with them.
