My Wife in her past jobs has been a traffic reporter, on air personality for a Christian radio station, sound editor for Focus on the Family, and a morning show/drive time personality on a country radio station in Daytona, FL. Recently she has been volunteering (she calls it work) at a non-profit Smooth Jazz radio station (WGRV the Groove). If anyone is interested in listening, she is on the air Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 2pm. You can stream the station by going to http://www.thegroove.org. Her on air name is Bobbie Lemieux. Tom

Eastern Standard Time, which at this time of year is 4 hours behind you (due to daylight savings time). So, my Wife's radio show (or shift) would be on between 2pm and 6pm your time.

I listened this morning, and your wife's voice inflection and articulation are first rate, Tom. Sounds like a pro! Did you say she volunteers doin' that? If that's the case then I gotta say The Groove is more than extremely lucky to have her talents for so cheap.

She use to have the highest rated morning radio show in the Daytona Beach area. She loves radio, unfortunately being a DJ doesn't pay unless you are syndicated.
The Groove is a non profit 501C radio station that is listener supported. Bobbie does not get paid for her time on the air, but she does sell advertising or rather airtime. Since the station is non-profit the rules are different in some regards when compared to a commercial radio station.

Aaaah...THAT 'splains it! (...and I can certainly understand why she had the highest rated morning radio show...'cause she's good!)
