ok lets open another can of worms..........
in other thread i just found few words from Carlos (TPUSA)
"813 cams works with stock 790-865 360 or 270 motors Will not work with Wiseco pistons and over size valves, will work with Wiseco pistons with stock size valves.( The Wiseco pistons does not take full advantage of the 813 cams."
ok what is better do the head job or cams? (cams are easier just swap)

Cams are bolt in and super easy as long as you don't get them 180 degrees outta whack like I did. :bang head: If your willing to pull the head why not do cams and stage 1 head minus valves. At this point its all about airflow. More air/fuel in = more boom = more power. Just don't forget you need fuel too

A couple years ago while at South Bay Triumph I rode a new Bonnie SE that Matt had the guys there put a hotter cam in only, and I gotta say that that alone made it feel as if it had maybe 7 or 8 more horsepower than a stock one. And so, bang-for-the-buck-wise, I think you're right, Z.
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Give this administration a little more time and we'll be right up there with you. Tree huggers don't want us to drill or build new refineries, so the price can only continue to increase as we send more and more money to the Middle East/Mexico/South America.
08 America, A/I &, Calif emissions "stuff" gone, air box removed & battery relocated, billet intakes, UNI Pods, 145 mains, 42 pilots, Stage 2 igniter, intminators, 813 cams, Progressive 412's, modified seat.

"Okay Stanley! MAYBE you've forgotten about the A.U.P.s at this website, EH?!"
(...and besides, using historical data, your point is highly debatable, BUT as Ollie is sayin' up there, THIS is not the place to debate this issue!)

There are two ways to power up an engine, old school, remove metal and reduce restriction, the other method, ala Nascar is to add strategic restriction to the air/fuel flow mix and increase the velocity. Unfortunately, I only know of one motorcycle shop in the country, that offers the second option and they are basically a Harley shop. They can and do extract phenomenal usable power out of V-Twins. web page
