The bolts holding my luggage/ rear seat rest/ghost brackets onto my rear fender are fractionally too short. I am looking for ones approximately 4 inches long but I have had no real luck funding the right combination of size, width, and type. Any suggestions?

Ya, I took my bolts (there are two different lenghts stock) to Ace Hardware, and got all four of them in one lenght, about 3/4" longer than the longest stock one.
Just be sure to NOT go too much longer, the unthreaded shank can be too long to fully tighten up.

GhostBrackets doesn't have longer bolts to accommodate the backrest? EasyBrackets carries a complete different set of bolts and posts for the factory sissybar and without.

Ace and True Value both carry a good selection of metric in stainless and different grades. If that fails can get anything you want from Fastenal.

Would you want to use SS? Grade 8 is more what I was thinking of?
