Has anyone had this issue, I can clearly see where it is weeping out around the seal not a hugh amout but enough!!
When I pull this off what can I expect should be just oil and cams correct, no water jacket are up in that area?I ask cause really want to know what I getting into seems easy enough but can never tell. Last what would cause this? Took it for a 1st ride last week really didnt notice anything, but really didnt examine it that closely and took it out to clean it yesterday and noticed it was weeping only thing I have done was change the pipes and changing jets asap but I wouldnt think that has anything to do with this. Any suggestions I'm all ears.
Thanks for your time,

It happens. They dry out and weep.
Four bolts on top to remove, no water jackets or anything crazy. Heres what you'll see when you pull it off:

WARNING: Those four bolts that hold the cam cover on... DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. They are only tightened to 5nm which is less than most will do by hand. They have a stop/step build into the bolt but you can easily shear them off if you try and over tighten.

Ideally you'd replace the cam cover gasket and the four seals for the bolts. Something isn't letting that gasket seat and seal. It may have dried out or who knows.
Some have ran a small bead of RTV around it. Not a bad idea if you need it running ASAP.

When I swapped mine (before the engine build) I lubed it with engine oil (like you would do on an oil filter) and just tightened to 5nm. It was fine till I pulled it off this last time and it sat in the garage for a month.

kool,Sounds pretty straight forward. The 1/4" of shine mostly concentrated under the seam on the indent around the plugs gave it away. I will peel it off and see what we can do.
Thanks for your time
