The looks of the bike has been based on a '29 hardley board tracker, but this one has twin jet engines.

WOW!!! Who would'a thunk it???

Take one old H-D boardtrack racer's fame and mate it up a couple of pulse jet(V1 "Buzz Bomb" style) engines, and ya have yourself...ummmmm...well, ya have yourself somethin' I wouldn't ride on a friggin' bet!

(...though I gotta admit it sure is cool to look at anyway!)

"Alright" has been in use over here for YEARS

As for the "U", I can imagine Dick van Dyke saying "Alriought, Mary Poppins", but no-one else

I'd ride the hell outta it, at least once, just not through the twisties.

Well Matt, seein' as how I had previously responded to Bryn with a picture from a classic movie and a line of dialogue, I'll respond to YOUR post in the same manner:

...in THAT case, "You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din!"

Nope, not "better" just a little younger and still a lil' bit of 10' tall and bulletproof left in my feeble mind.

Yeah I know my wife keeps mine in her purse just like the rest of you but I have to take em out every now and then.

Well Matt I would BUT it's been snowing in Sedona since about 8 this morning. Yep, at 4300ft in elevation, Sedona does get the occasional snow flurries, though only about half the snowfall that Prescott(from where we've recently moved) at 5400ft gets, and about a quarter of what Flagstaff at almost 7,000ft gets.

I know most people when they think of Arizona usually only envision the southern half of it and its deserts down there at much lower elevations in the Phoenix and Tucson area, but the northern half is quite a departure from that in both climate and in vegetation.

(...btw, tomorrow it's supposed to be clear skies and in the mid-60s again locally, and so I most likely will be out on the bike then)

I see this and all I can think about is the urban legend of the guy with the Impala and the purloined rocket engines.

Hey Ed, is that the joke where when he takes it out for its first test run, a motorcycle cop starts chasing him and when the guy really opens it up and leaves the cop in the dust, the cop thinking his bike has just died on him and that he's standing still, steps off it at 60mph?

No, it's the story of the two troopers trying to figure out how an Impala gets imbedded in a rock cliff 100' above the roadbed. The tale is a guy working at a munitions depot lifted a couple of solid fuel boosters and crammed them in the trunk of his 60something Impala. Long deserted highway, somewhere around 250mph the car takes flight. One of those Darwin Award stories...
