I didn't know her very well, only met her on March 24th at the NW Meet n Greet. Her name was Lisa Mills and on this forum she was "bykme". I invited her to the event thought this forum and she brought some friends. All had great attitudes and Lisa seemed to be the glue. She walked up to the table and asked "is this the Triumph group" and of course we said no or something like that. She easily melded in and in that very short period of time, I believe, made a lot of new friends. I for one was looking forward to getting to chat with her again one day. She had a great sense of humor and was one of those people that you meet and want to hang out with cause she was just fun to be around. Lisa is the one on the far right of the photo, black jacket holding the glove.

Evidently, Lisa met her untimely fate aboard a motorcycle on the Alaskan Way viaduct Sunday night, last. I was in correspondence with her a few times. She was also a hypnotherapist as well as her other many attributes, this is really sad news.

I, like the rest of us at the N.W. thing, didn't know her well..though we did take a few moments to joke a bit. You just know when you meet them... she is Good People! See ya on a better hiway kid. My deepest respect...Mike (and Michelle).

There will be a celebration in her honor this coming Tuesday April 10th at The Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Seattle at 7pm. Along with eulogies there will be performances by Alicia Healey, Dream On, and the Remaining Swamp Mamas with Margaret Wilder paying tribute to Lisa, as well as a few other guest acts. If you knew Lisa, please come and join us in celebrating the memory of our good friend and musical comrade."....Hopefully.I will see a few of our locals there.Sounds like a Rockin Good Bye!!!

This is a terribly sad story, but I don't believe this is the same Lisa Mills linked on the previous u tube performance links. I was confused because that's the Lisa Mills I'm familiar with,she is from down south. She performs mostly in the south and Britain. I think she calls the Mobile Bay area home. I don't mean to diminish this tragedy. I always pay tribute to and mourn our lost comrades. At the link is a nice blog about our Lisa which also contains a link to her band's performance.
