Is the thruxton 900 the same engine as our 865's,is the head gona fit on an 865 engine?

One thing for sure, you will need to switch out the cams if the recipient engine fires 270 degrees as Thrux engines run 360 degree timing. Call one of the Triumph twin performance builders on the phone, as they should have a definitive answer as to swap ability. I'm guessing they fit, but I'm certainly no authority.

Well I went ahead and bought the head,looked on bike bandit to cross refrence the part #s,yea it will fit if my engine # is within these #'s.Great,I can't find an engine # on that engine,it says engine#202151 and up or 186920 and down.What about the #s inbetween.That must be mine.
