Has anyone tried the horn replacement from Newbonneville.com? It's only $24, is it worth the time?
Didn't buy into the hype, you can keep the change.

http://www.hornsplusauto.com/ Steble TM80 Magnum Low tone. $20 shipped, and its nice and loud. It is just plug and play,no BS, no relays.I just bought one for my kids bike. I have the old Hi tone one and the new one is way louder.

What's the DB level? Been considering the Nautilus, but of course the other would be way easy to install.

Yes, and no. I'll send you one for ten bucks if you want it. Lower tone than stock, but not really any louder IMHO. If you want loud, get the Stebel. I did, and I did. A relay needs to be added, but it's no big deal. My only regret is I didn't get the CHROME one! Uncle Charlie

What Steble? Why a relay?

Nautilus. A relay is needed because more noise=more current draw. This unit is a one piece combo compressor/dual trumpet air horn. It will get the attention of a suvdrivingyuppie cellphonetalkingtextingmoron. It will also scare deer. Uncle Charlie

Go with a Thunderbird horn. Loud, distinct and inexpensive.

These bad boys are LOUD. Why piss around... get the loudest possible because if you need to use the horn, what good is it if it can`t be heard. I`ve got them, love them... they can wake up the dead! RIVCO Magnum Electric horn - 118 decibels.

Stebel Scooter Compact Nautilus Twin AIR HORN. Loudest thing on the road. I've had one for over 5 years. Scaring inattentive drivers right over their stereos and cell phones. Oh yeah, you WILL need a relay. https://www.denniskirk.com/214515.sku?utm_source=pricegrabber&utm_medium=cse
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Hey Keith, are you still happy with your RIVCO Magnum Electric horns? Just windering if you went with a relay or not? Cheers John Q

Those things are AMAZING! I am very happy with them. And yes, I had to use a relay... they draw too much power for the switch to withstand.

Hey Keith. How's the chrome on the plastic holding up? The chrome on my first set didn't last well (on a previous bike) so I went with the black this time round.

After all the information about the Magnum Horns I ended up buying locally and when comparing the notes on youtube ended up purchasing a set of Stebel Chromed Twin Electric Italian Horns for $38.95AU delivered to my door. They came with a relay and my next dilemma was here to mount them? My '06 TBA is my daily ride and my commute often involves gridlock and slow, very hot running in bumper to bumper peak hour Sydney traffic so the factory horn location in front of the oil cooler between two very hot header pipes just didn't seem to make real sense to me for placing two chromed plastic horns. After some experimentation I actually ended up mounting them either side of my headlight & behind my summer screen. The red relay that was supplied with the horn kit resides where the OEM horn once lived and I will replace this with a chromed horn relay if I can find one. My TBA now has a much more threatening horn blast and maybe this could be another option for fellow readers thinking of alternative mounting horn locations?

Good location idea John. Mine are mounted above the oil radiator.

This looks like the same as the WOLO Bad Boy units that Fast Eddy has. Any trouble mounting it, or finding an effective mounting location that does not look bad? No need for a relay? Quote:
