All I read is a blank post. Of course I'm running Win 7 so THAT could be the problem.

at that age, he should at least be allowed to take a ride around the block. that has got to be killing him, to know that...there it sits with its its glimmering chrome and ooooo that sound that it makes when dad leaves to go for a ride, the thought of cruising by all his hood buds riding on the back with dad, knowing that now he's the cool kid on the street. HOW CAN HIS MOTHER DENY HIM THIS????? it is cruel and unusual thats what it is, just cruel and unusual. she dosnt think you will do everything in your power to make sure it is a safe ride??? my kids rode around the block when they were in diapers and have enjoyed exciting things(rollercoasters, airplanes, boats, etc) eversince with no fear.
ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!

Betcha that he'll want a Triumph of his very own too! by the time he's say....14. I recommend the 500 Trophy (69-71) if you can find one. Great starter bike!

Put him on the gas tank and cruises around the block. Don't forget a towel for the tank. I started all my kids that way. "Riding Texas Style" We used a bicycle helmet till they got big enough for a kids one. our block just started getting bigger and bigger till one day it was all of Oak Harbor when I was in Whidbey Island. My wife asked my daughter where we went,,,she said "around the neighborhood!" It was He!! holding a straight face

Just mapped Oak Harbor/Whidbey Island, WA and it seems your ride was well over 60 miles that day. I bet to this day your daughter remembers that! Good times for sure.

i figure if they are old enough or tall enough to reach the passenger pegs, then they can ride on the back like everybody else. when my grandaughters were to young to reach, i would put their mother on the back and she could hold the child between us, maybe you could try that?? but like i said if he can reach the pegs, he's good to go.
ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!
