Managed to put these on (from a Harley Wideglide) without having to extend the cables. Bit of a tight stretch for the clutch and brake though.

I'm not big on apes much, but those are some tasteful ones I gotta say.

Maybe I'm missing it, but I really wanna do something very similar to my America and I can't really find too much info on specs for handlebars that'll work. I'm assuming 1" diameter, but is that all I need to worry about?

1" diameter, 3.5" spacing for the knurling where they attach to the risers. That's about it.

I have these, 8" chumps: http://www.biltwellinc.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=51I noticed in the picture the throttle cables are on the left side of the back bone. You can gain some length if you run them on the right side of the back bone.

I have the same type of bars on mine now.

Do you have any pics handy of how these look? How was the installation? Dimpled or non-dimpled?

This was when I had the longer cables on it. I had 12" ape on it before. I don't remember if they were dimpled or non-dimpled. I drilled them and ran the wires in the bar. There are instruction on that in the tech vault.

SDkimo, I will have to say I REALLY like the look of your bike. Your mini apes, How you bobbed the fender, the gators, the way you blacked out everything, custom seat, relocation of ALL your signals, and the exhaust you are using.
VERY SHARP!

Cables are here: http://www.barnettclutches.com/products/...mp;misc=Triumph
Use the Barnett model Number for your bike and say +6" that would be a cable that is 6" longer than stock...
can you give us a idea on priceing?
