my '10 America has black lettering (Triumph) in the tank badge. I've see other colors on some Triumphs but only on decals, not the badge itself.
Just wondering if there have been Triumph models with colors other than black in the "Triumph" lettering in the tank badge.
Thinking about a blue like in the British flag.

Members have painted in the colours themselves. Red is popular.

I used a paint touch up pen from the auto parts store to paint the badges on my Trophy. Lots of colors to choose from and the new pens have both a brush and a sharpie tip built into the cap.

Traditionally the Triumph tank badge "Triumph" is black. moe is right in the "old days" many changed that to red, some even Triumph blue or bright yellow.

My 03 America badge, the Triumph is metallic gold, matching the tank pinstripes. Everything else is black except for the chrome Triumph letter outline. On my 76 T140V with the eyebrow marque, the Triumph is metallic gold, eyebrow chrome and lower part black, this on a solid Jeep red tank.

Use your imagination. If you don't like it start over. I use old fashion lacquer model paint and an art brush. The 03 America was done Jan 03, the 76 in 91, neither has ever had to be touched up.

Note: if he 2010 marques are plastic, you might want to test paint and lacquer thinner on the back. OH! and do it when the weather sucks so you won't rush yourself to get it done to ride.
