Daytona Bike Week is here, March 9th-18th.

Chiseled in stone for me is the Vintage Motorcycle Alliance bike show/flea market at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Eustis on Friday, 3/9, from about 9 ish till 1-2 PM.

From there we'll head East to Daytona for opening ceremonies and the Kick-off parties.

1st. weekend is open for whoever/whatever.

Thursday, 3/15, we'll be at Willeys Tropical Tattoo "Ol' School Chopper Show" in Ormond Beach from noon till 4 PM.

2nd. weekend is open for whoever/whatever.

Any Loco's (locals) goin', give me a ring. (or a pm)

And you may see me tonight With an illegal smile J. Prine

A group of us will be going as usual. We will be camping at the ABATE campground at the Volusia Fairgrounds. I won't be going up until the morning of 12th. We'll be all over the place. Wednesday and/or Thursday we will be at the Daytona Classic Motorcycle Auction in Deland (Stetson College). It is the only event where you will see more British/European bikes than HD.

CAMPING! You live like what, twenty miles away!??

I know that's GOT to be a "Party Thing".

M-T-W I won't be there, and Thurs. I'll be in Ormond.

So I'll post my "Last Weekend" plans (F-S-S) here, once their made, so if you or Jim get a chance to check, and will still be there the second weekend, maybe we'll get together.

Peace,

Erle

I should be around then as well. TCV, keep me posted on the Deland show. Also on my radar is the flat track event at the speedway.

Ryan, I will text you and let you know when we go to the Deland show. The last 4 digits of your cell # is still 6259?

The flat track event will be very interesting. It would be great to see one of Bill's bike in the race. I saw Bill at the Triumph dealer this last Biketoberfest. He had 3 of his bikes on display.

It is just over 65 miles, but then who is counting. I have camped out there the last 9 years. It's a good location, the price is good, and it helps out ABATE. Our normal day is up at 7am off riding to wherever by 10am and back to the camp site by 1am. Drink some beer, start a camp fire (when they allow it) and eventually take a shower and get a little sleep.

I'll be up there from Monday morning until Sunday midday. So, let me know where you will be Friday and Saturday and maybe we can connect. On Friday and/or Saturday we will probably be at the Iron Horse Saloon around 4pm until whenever.

I am looking to go up Wednesday of next week and the last Sunday. Would like to meet up with some of you if possible. Deland sounds interesting.

just an fyi from my recon this morning, there are no Triumph demos this week. They have the new bikes with the new 1200cc motor on the lot however. I guess the new Adventurer Tigger thingie is cool enough, but I prefer cleaner lines. The 1050 Tigger was as far as I was gonna go with that, but to each his/her own. The new Sprint is awesome. They did a great job with the bags. In my opinion the top box actually looks like it belongs. The Scrambler makes me want to cry. It is still so beautiful and also makes me think of Larryshep.
