Hope all our BA friends are doing ok. Batten down the hatches as it looks like we are picking up right where the 2011 season left off.

I am so tired of these tornadoes. Quite a few touched down in Southeast Tennessee tonight. More people with destroyed lives. So sad.

Saw some damage when I was in the south whole sections of trees flattened in Alabama. For those in the area I hope it abates soon. Just flew out of Florida the plane was flapping its wings and shaking its head the whole way to Detroit.

The closest they got to us was Harrisburg, KS near Topeka and Branson, Mo. I think a couple people died in Harrisburg.

prayers and well wishes for all in danger.
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

I got 70+ mph winds here wed night, nothing touched down. I heard on the news that someone found a live toddler in a field 10 miles from home in Indiana. Last I heard authorities didn't know if the parents survived.
Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.
