Just because I can't leave well enough alone, I want to trade out my America handlebars for the Speedmaster drag bars. Already found the bars (thanks PogueMahone), but am kinda wondering about the risers. Right now I have 1" aftermarkets with the America. Is that gonna be enough elevation for the drag bars?

Hmm maybe not Speedmasters have 4 inch risers ! But then again you could like them try it !!
I have Spacer Jim's added to my Speedmaster that 1 1/4 inch rise up makes a big difference to me!
Are we there YET? I gotta go pee!!

Unless you have long arms, you might want to be moving them up and back?

I seem to recall when doing that swap you need at least 3" risers to clear the tank. But I'm pulling that out of the deep recesses of my memory (colloquially known as "out of my butt"). I have Speedy bars for one of my bikes and picked up some 4" up, 1.5" back risers. Haven't mounted any of it yet.

Yeah, kinda realized that risers might be needed also, and I haven't seen any for less that like $180. Might have to shelve this idea for awhile.
