I found it a couple of months after I bought my bike. I wish I would have found it sooner!

Yep, I go back to bein' a member around that time, also. And yeah, over the years I've "occasionally" visited this place and offered up "a comment or two" durin' all that time.  (...HAPPY 10th ANNIVERSARY, BA.COM!!!...and Friar John, thanks for takin' over the reins a while back and not only keepin' this baby goin', but also for the many improvements you've made around here since then!!!)

Not actually, Z. Ya see, before you joined up, in January of 2005 they re-did this website, and everybody already here had to "re-up" again.
And thus, that is why you'll see a lot of us "oldtimers" having that approximate date below our avatar.

Actually his is correct. The site was redone in 2005, which reset all the dates from there going forward.

Sorry Z. My mistake. I was thinkin' your intent was to say that that always shows when people joined up.
(...however, maybe my explanation there might help the newer folks around here to understand why there won't be anyone showin' a join-up of membership date of Feb '02 on this 10th Anniversary)

Nah, not really, Bryn ol' boy.  Ya see, the nice folks around here had already pretty much gotten used to the idea of people like you bein' around this place YEARS before. (...and THAT, of course, was about 5 years BEFORE you joined up in 2009 and when a certain crazy-ass MFer who lived in California at the time but who now lives in Arizona signed on around here!)
