Turns out that 2010 EFI headers are a direct replacement for 2004 carby headers. The bolt to plug the O2 sensor bung is a M12 fine thread (1.25). and if you have the same luck I did you'll be cutting a 25mm bolt down to about 10mm to keep it out of the header.
Had to have chrome to match my new-to-me TORs.

Are the outlets the same size? Meaning can I install EFI headers and keep my Specialty Spares?

Could you then use the bung(s) for an AF meter for tuning purposes?

Thats what Im wondering. You could use dual O2 sensors and something like an Innovative LM2 or a dual O2 a/f gauge.

I bought a set of headers to weld bungs onto last year for the purpose of tuning BUT if I don't have to weld bungs Ill buy a newer set to make my life easier.

It's a direct replacement and everything fits. The A/F tuning option is appealing, itsn't it?

Got in a couple of hours yesterday and the pipes worked just fine. Doesn't hurt to have new gaskets and RTV as well but the end result is a seamless replacement. SS long canons and black headers off to the classifieds today.

That black exhaust system looked so good on your bike, but I imagine the chrome stuff looks good too. I guess it's safe to say you're not going to work on the SS baffles. Sigh... now I have to go it alone in my quest for better sound. (Meanwhile like you, I have my TORs to keep me sane.)

Sorry Keith but I chose riding over experimenting when I was mulling over my 'cost benefit analysis'. The bike just winds up so much more smoothly that I'm reluctant to go back...

I totally missed the downgrade to TORs. What's up with that?

A peaceful ride. Surprisingly, better performance according to the old butt dyno...makes me think that air box elimination is key to making the SS work up to ability.

Probably so. I like the way Bollox ran with K&Ns and Specialty Spares, but I also like the way Reboot runs with a UNI/gutted airbox and TORs. Still haven't put the long SS pipes on Reboot. Maybe I'll just stash them away.
