Unemployed and depressed. I don't think I have been on a bike for more than an hour since October. So what do you do when you're broke? You buy another bike. I recently met one of my neighbors and he told me he had some sportster parts that I could have. Nice. He gave me a set of jugs and some other stuff and while in his garage I notice his 91 883 with buell heads but the rest of the bike was pretty rough. He had started stripping it down to do some work but both he and his wife contracted cancer and put an end to the bike. I offered him 6 hundred for the project and he sold it to me. Now I have 2 sporties that don't run at the moment. The speedy is still in great shape and will remain my daily ride. I have been playing a lot of guitar lately and not sleeping so here I am at 430am cruising the web and said "man I gotta get over to the site and say hello." So hello guys hope you're all well.

I hope things start looking up for ya. You can always get one of them sporties up and going to sell for a profit. Could turn into a full time job. Maybe, or maybe not, nothing ventured nothing gained. Oh well I hope things get better for ya.
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

Many of us have been there, Darrin. I've certainly bought my share of toys when I couldn't justify it financialy. A new toy always makes ya feel better for a while. Hang in there!

This time last year I too was unemployed and felt worthless. But now I'm employed and annoyed so there's hope for you yet Darrin, and it wont be long until you too look back on this time with fondness, as you realise it's only lack of money that's depressing (I'd have put a at the end, but I mean it) As for "Now I have 2 sporties that don't run at the moment." I'm saying nothing
