very cheap feel to everything, kept losing signal, and you have to unplug it to try to boot it back up. It was freakign horrible and they kept emailing me with promos no matter how many times I hit "unsubscribe"

freaking terrible

get the sony one its the same thing and its sony. My sister got one and she likes it. I'm currently using my blu-ray player with wifi built in and have never had a problem since ROKU

Quite a few options in my opinion. Check out their line up here, uphttp://www.roku.com/roku-channel-store

I cut the cable a long time ago, I have Netflix as well which was fantastic until the greed kicked in and it is going south rather quickly.

You know, I bought one of those media players.
When it died I bought a netbox (tiny computer) for about $300. It was sooooo much better than any of the media players. It could do anything they could and everything a computer could. Just get a media computer. It is the size of a book.

If you are cutting the cord definitely get hulu plus. I have a Roku and Apple TV. Even with amazon prime movies there just isn't enough to hold my interest every night. The draw back to the Roku is it is not as easy to watch your own stuff. Apple TV or the Western Digital box work much better for your own movies etc. If you want possibly a better but more expensive option look at the Boxee Box it even has an OTA tuner available.

I got rid of my TV in december. I haven't missed it......There was never anything worth looking at on anyway.

The newer TVs have built in WiFi, don't need the Roku box. Our remote even has a Netflix button. Don't have to think at all to watch TV.
