Took my bike for it's first night ride. Riding home into the mountains with no streetlights i hit the high beam; immediately i lost all lights. Had to keep going with indicator on to give me some light but a very dangerous situation. Rang my dealer to book in for repair as bike is still under warranty but they seemed touchy about whether it will be repaired under conditions of warranty. Not very happy about it & was wondering if anyone else had electrical problems?

Did you check the blub? I wonder if both low and high beam went at the same time.

I had same problem. Contacts were installed wrong, weren't making good contact, got hot, started arching. Take left side switch apart, use a fine file, smooth contacts on high-low switch. If they got so hot they moved in plastic mounting plate you may need to replace switch. Mine didn't, just filing very smooth, extremely light coat of Dielectric Grease. So far still working 2 years later. You need to make sure all contacts are making flat-even contact not just one side or the other. Seems to be a lot of current flowing thru a cheep set-up.Last year l changed my headlight bulb to a 100/130 watt still working so far, switch doesnt get hot

I think "Adey" bought the Scrambler, across the pond.
