I'd love to have one of those. Good going, Greg (unintended alliteration)!

Make sure, when jacking the bike up to install the cover, you use safety straps to insure the bike doesn't fall off the jack.

I still really like that decal. I wonder if it is available in black instead of chrome for obvious reasons?

I bet they could make it in black just as easily as they made it in chrome

Not jealous at all, at least not anymore. Been blacking out things on Bollox and I don't care enough to change that much on Reboot. And it won't fit the Rocket.

I have one of the decals in black if you want it? I got carried away when I had a silver one made for my blue cover and a black one made for my chrome one, and because they were only about $5 had a couple of extras made as well
Caspian Blue '03 BA, Union Jack/Stars and Stripes paint, BUBs, Progressive 812s, and lots of chrome

Got the sidecover and it is perfect. Now I have to wait until April to install it. Also got the decal from Martin. A big "Thank You" to him for sending it to me no charge. Wouldn't take anything for it. We really have a great bunch of BA members....don't you all agree?

Where did you get that Bonneville America decal? Is that a separate Bonneville decal on top of the original America one? Is there a simple way of getting the decal off?

the decal came from Hightech Signs phone #972-771-5599, talk to Chad
my cover was completely stripped and painted, then the decal went on then clear coat... no easy way to get the old one off

Got a chance to take a few pictures. Not the best day but I installed the sidecover and it looks good. Have not put any decals in place yet. Worried about the durability of the decal on the chrome. I'm wondering if I can clear coat the chrome sidecover after putting a decal in place to keep it from peeling or wearing? To bad the chrome reflects so well. The blue recycle bin really stands out as well as moi taking the pics.

You can never have too much chrome. Vey nice. I'm envious and such an easy upgrade.

I wouldn't worry about the durability of the decals. I have the black on chrome, and silver on blue, neither clear coated and they seem pretty robust (to weather and cleaning)....and they only cost five bucks if they do start to peel.

Looks good. I'll bet Dave's secretly crying on the inside... Don't clear coat the decal after applied. Almost any clear coat is gonna be prone to yellowing or peeling. A good quality decal is very tough and durable.
